New Moon forecasts show the general trends and financial outlook for the month; below is some of what Kaye Shinker predicts for the month ahead. 
New Moon in Scorpio, October 26 3:56 pm EDT Washington, D.C.
The New Moon appears in the 8th House (refer to chart) Non USA members can set up a New Moon chart for the capital of their country. Textbook 4, page 30 of the Textbook For Financial Astrology, will help with interpretation the New Moon chart. (Note the house position of the New Moon in the chart in the capital of the country.)

Scorpio New Moon
The focus of the Scorpio New Moon is on debt, taxes, insurance and how to avoid paying to much for all three. Opportunities abound to discover ways to spend fewer dollars on insurance and maintain the same benefits. Tax revenues continue to challenge local governments, but a few are finding creative new sources especially in the sin tax category.

The weather forecast is balmy for everyone with plenty of opportunities for scenic weekend outings.

Super New Moon
The Moon is perigee or at its closest point in its orbit around the Earth. Super Moons often predict natural disasters such as severe weather, earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic activity. Richard Nolle created the term "Super New Moon". Click through to his article and explanation of the term.

November 24 - December 13 - Mercury Rx
Now is the time to accomplish your Holiday Shopping. It is also a good idea to write and send holiday party invitations. Remember the date of Mercury retrograde occurs on Thursday Nov. 24/American Thanksgiving. Expect your dinner guest to be late and your food to suffer from a forgetful cook. The Sagittarius New Moon is the next day and if you must go shopping remember to keep all expenditures under $20, save your receipts and avoid any written contracts. It is great time to do things that start with the prefix "re" A detailed discussion concerning the perils of Mercury Retrograde appears in Lesson 2 The Textbook for Financial Astrology. If you are a trader/investor these are perfect dates for a winter vacation.

October 28, Jupiter trine Pluto at 5° Taurus Capricorn

Jupiter began an applying trine with Pluto starting with the September 23rd Equinox. The aspect will end with the Spring 2012 Equinox. Everyone will strive for personal success. Agriculture and Business will find plenty of work and the energy to accomplish the goals they set. Business abroad will remain successful throughout this time period.

The exact aspect marks an up market and the midpoint of an extended period of buyouts, mergers and mega deals.

It is also a warning of bankruptcy among various financial institutions. It is very important to check the debt obligations of equities on your list of possible investments. Folks need to repeat the mantra "Cash is King" when judging investments and managing their own budgets.

November 9, Neptune direct at 28° Aquarius

Neptune direct indicates a continuation of up market. Often Neptune direct occurs just after the markets have made a move to the upside. Statistically this has happened 85% of the time during the past 12 years. Neptune's creativity has been most apparent in the electronics industry. During the past 14 years the creative nature of Neptune has brought a plethora of gadgets specifically designed to increase the speed of communications world wide. Technology will continue to expand, however the rate of innovation will slow. (Read the article, Neptune in Pisces)

The Scorpio New Moon appears in the 8th House (see chart above) The New Moon in the 8th focuses attention on debt and taxes and folks expect governments to keep both at a minimum. Governments expect taxpayers to dig deeper into their pockets therefore voters in local elections will find plenty of requests for increased taxes on their ballot. Voters will say No. Insurance companies will begin new ad campaigns designed to scare the average worker into buying their products.

Mercury appears in the 8th House
Scandals as well as retirements force changes at the managerial levels of government as well as large corporations. Expiring unemployment insurance will find a plethora of new business formation.

Venus appears in the 8th House
This is a month when folks will find they are able to earn their own income. Now is the best time to become self-employed before the end of the year tax bills need to be calculated.

Jupiter appears in the 2nd House
Earned income improves for everyone. Markets improve slowly throughout the month with less volatility. Folks continue to evaluate their banking arrangements and find alternative ways to pay for purchases.

Mars appears in the 6th House
Employers in the medical industry continue to hire new workers. Scandals plague the industry adding to the number of job openings at the management level.
