New Moon forecasts show the general trends and financial outlook for the month; here is what Kaye Shinker has to say for the month ahead:
The New Moon in Aquarius, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 9:51 PM EST Washington D.C.
February 14 is both the Chinese New Year (Year of the Tiger) and Valentines Day.
February 16 is Mardi Gras.
The New Moon and three joyous Holidays within a space of 4 days! So here's wishing you a Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentines Day. Have a Very Merry Mardi Gras and laissez les bon temps rouler! (That's Louisiana Cajun French for "Let the Good Times Roll!")
Laugh with your children, enjoy amusing entertainment, and live life to the fullest. Laugh until you are rolling on the floor.
The New Moon Appears in the Fifth House of this chart. The fifth house is fun, laughter, and giggles. It is the house of children, theater, amusements, education, gambling, and commodities.
The New Moon means it is time for a fresh new start, a new beginning, a new attitude. In Aquarius, in the fifth, it means technological fun.
Something new is on the horizon and everyone with internet access will think this is just the best thing since sliced bread. Life is short, it is time to use all those smiley face glyphs : )).
Neptune in the Fifth House
Theater, the arts and casino receipts will increase as folks determine it is time to spend their spare cash on having a good time. The fact that three huge celebrations come together after the New Moon helps add to the creativity of parades, feasts, and musical entertainment. Folks will decorate everything in order to make their neighbors smile. Chiron, the Maverick, remains conjunct Neptune which means unique creative ideas will eventually win. Example, the popularity of Avatar. Go ahead Smile.
Venus in the Fifth House
Award ceremonies proliferate and for a change the popular attraction wins. People are earning money from their labors. They are finding ways to recycle all sorts of rubbish and sell their junk for extra income. Opportunities are everywhere for those who keep their eyes wide open. Vendors are earning cash with their push carts filled with interesting fun toys.
Jupiter in the Fifth House
Children are well behaved and actually teaching their parents and teachers about the world of technology. Entertainment ventures are making a profit as folks with cabin fever are spending their extra cash on tickets. Speculative adventures are doing just fine. New businesses are collecting plenty of cash and many are making news as a result. Traders on the various exchanges are making good decisions and getting excellent ideas as to where to invest their money. In each book of the Textbook for Financial Astrology, I offer lists of where to look when Jupiter transits Pisces.
Uranus in the Sixth House
Weird compensation changes are happening in the uniform service sector. Strange pets are being investigated and laws concerning their captivity are proposed. Take care of all minor abrasions. If you need to employ technology proficient personnel, this would be a good time to find them. Employment contracts have strange conditions, therefore read the fine print. This is a good time to rewrite your resume with an emphasis on your creativity and adaptability. Unimaginable job descriptions are currently under construction.
Mars in the Tenth House
Mars is opposed to Mercury, and that means everyone is shouting at each other. It is difficult to hear what each person is saying. Executives are shouting at the customers and the customers are shouting at the executives. Mars fills the executive board rooms and governments with euphonious wars of words. Everyone disagrees about how to proceed. Discussions are endless.
Markets trade in a narrow range as a result. Traders just shake their heads. Investors remind themselves that markets anticipate the economy by six to eight months. Mars retrograde at least limits the amount of energy behind the verbal tirades, but when Mars goes direct (March 10th) the battle for power will begin.
Saturn in the Twelfth House
Accounting scandals concerning public institutions are discussed in every media. There is a sense of fairness that is being violated by greed, incompetent bookkeeping and disreputable hired officials. Solutions will be proposed and some will actually be enacted. Folks will demand openness concerning the institutions in their community as well as nation.
Pluto in the Third House
Old media just can't keep up with new media. Those employed by old media are finally making the transition and becoming actively involved in sharing their knowledge. Imagination dominates.
Folks are once again shopping for replacement vehicles. The opportunity seems to be in used cars and trucks.
Mercury in the Fourth House
Negotiations concerning home sales will be challenging. Windy weather slows the planting of crops for farmers in the Southern states. Windy weather in the Northeast is a problem for travelers.
Earthquake and volcanic activity continues throughout the Caribbean.
