  1. when will the crest for the moon will be for the month of august or is the crest of the moon been visible on a clear day on thursday or friday

  2. The Crescent Moon follows the New Moon. During the New Moon the Moon is not visible - but you may be able to see a slight sliver of it as it grows. The Cescent Moon is visable when it is from 45 degrees to 90 degrees ahead of the Sun - it is seen in the western sky from the time of sunset. Look at the very bottom line on the days of the calendar to see how many degrees the Moon is on that particular day. You should be able to the Cescent Moon on the 24th.
