  1. Hi Kaye - Well I hope you are right and I am wrong regarding your optimistic outlook! (Readers note: Kaye and I will disagree to disagree at times and feel this makes for an interesting partnership!)

Looking at the astrological calendar for the month of August, we are entering an extremely volatile period. Within two weeks - readers, you can check the calendars here on the web site - we are soon to have both Sun-Jupiter, Sun-Neptune oppositions. (Sun-Jupiter on Friday August 14th before the end of trading (NYSE) and the Sun-Neptune opposition on Monday, shortly after the close.) Mercury will conjunct Saturn early that day - and in my mind that equals "Bad News".

The next day we will have a Mars square Uranus! Then Mars opposes Pluto the following Wednesday.

These astrological signatures do not bode well in my eyes. I think we will see the Bear come plodding out of the cave he has been in since March. This is still very much a bear market as far as I'm concerned.

Mercury RX in September will sure to bring a downturn in the market if there hasn't been one already, then Saturn will oppose Uranus. The last time Saturn Opposed the Uranus was very dire.

With all that ahead of us, I just couldn't predict December as optimistically as you.

    Again...I hope you are right!

Readers should have tight stops in place.

  5. I am siding with Marley here for the reason she has stated and I have been looking at for some time. Last 2 Saturn Uranus Oppositions have produced a 20% sell off. 11,229 would be a 62 precent retrace from 2007 high. Even that would be a tall order in such a short time frame. They will have to come up with some good Earnings to report next quarter as well or maybe just lay off more for more false ER's. Companies need to sell something not just lay employee's off. I think Dec. to be interesting since we get another Jupiter Neptune conjunction and the end of the year will bring an end to Pres. Bush tax break so will they sell at the end of the year?

  6. Thanks for the comments. The Saturn Neptune oppositions are formidable, I agree. Yes, the Commercial Real Estate Market is a mess , but I have this feeling it is priced into the markets.
However, I think The Jupiter Neptune conjunction can either be a teaser or have a very optimistic effect on the markets. I went with the optimistic point of view since this conjunction ends the year. Kaye

  8. Thanks for the comment and all the charts on Pluto square and T square. Great way to point out all of the problems world wide. According to the Dow charts I have the market went up more than 20% when Saturn entered Libra. Add the nice Jupiter conjunct Neptune and you have Euphoria.
