Astrologers are looking at every chart for the next few months and there is no good news out there. Planets are swarming all over the early cardinal degrees forming squares and oppositions.

We cannot find another time when the planets have formed so many squares and oppositions in this short of a time frame. Some think maybe 1,000 years ago, others 10,000 years ago and of course they know once every 25,000+ years every aspect is repeated because of the precession of the equinox. The heliocentric chart for the Lunar Eclipse is very dramatic as it shows the earth/moon conjunct Pluto.

Speaking about the April 1986 Lunar Eclipse conjunct Pluto and the Chernobyl nuclear accident; financial astrologer, Arch Crawford explains: "Pluto “rules” nuclear power, debt, interest rates, and the use of force, say the astrologers. Here We Go

June 6-8 and here comes the first major conjunction Jupiter and Uranus soon to be followed by oppositions and squares and all sorts of major mischief from Saturn. The phenomena line up is incredible. The battle is zone is early cardinal suggesting something new born is about to arrive in the lives of everyone. It is supposed to be painful, but at the same time extremely exciting.

June 5th Spaceweather.com has a video of the first salvo in the battle where Jupiter is wounded by an asteroid. The second photo of the Sun demonstrates what appears to be the second salvo in the solar system battle. During the next few days we will experience the Sun's pain as the solar wind stream from these coronal holes flows in the direction of earth.

Question? What does this mean for the economy?

The usual indicators seem to say nothing.

History of the Dow states that it predicts the economy by six months. Therefore if we look back at the general trend of the Dow six months ago or December 2009 we see of the economic indicators generally moving up then down in February, then up again and now down and all within the 10,000-11,000 range. The conclusion would be that it stagnates.

The history of unemployment says that it is a lagging indicator. The percent of unemployed hasn't changed in 18 months. The conclusion would be that it stagnates.

The history of inflation is that interest rates spike. Nothing has really moved in that market for several years.

Question? What is going on?

It looks like currency. It is fiat money. It looks like central banks whose printing presses are spitting out nonredeemable paper. It looks like debts at every level of the world economy. No one is able to pay.

Solar flares have a tendency to break things electrical. Intense flares even melt copper. Previous experience indicates that when planets swarm they tend to set up conditions conducive to generating solar flares. Flares love to zap radio communications, kill satellites and melt electric wires. The activity could wipe out your computer, and mine as well as the world's merchants.

How does astrology compare to astronomy?

This one is easy.  Astronomers and astrologers look at the sky and say Whow .  Astronomers go back to their lab and grind another piece of glass so they can see it better.  Astrologers go back to their books and say what does it mean and how can I relate this to everyday life.

Astronomers  count and measure and count and measure and explain to the public what they see or don't see.

Astrologers count and measure and count and measure and interpret what they see.  They explain from experience how what they see has influenced the past and how it might influence the future life of humans. 

During the past week Scientists have been taken to task for fudging the data used in their statistics.  They have rearranged data to fit their theory of rising global temperatures. The public kept saying this is not our everyday experience.  We are wearing more clothes not less. Finally they were caught with their E-mails down. 

The public trusted their analysis was correct, however they manipulated their data and lost their public trust. 

Their failure was to not take into consideration the power of the SUN. 

Right now I'm watching the Sunspots. We have had 780 days of no Sunspots and that means in Alaska no colorful Auroras. To the Eskimos that means no caribou for supper this winter.  To the weather historian it means colder weather.  To the astronomer it means send up another space probe and see if there are any spots on the other side of the Sun.  

We could be ready to enter an Mini Ice age with cool weather dominating the Northern Hemisphere in July  and the Southern Hemisphere in January.

Forecasting weather trends is an essential element in Financial Astrology. During the past few years, I have mentioned the Sun Spot cycle in articles and blogs. Wherever I lecture I hand out graphs illustrating the sun spot cycle over the past 400 years. The graphs include an illustration of the conjunction of Jupiter with Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. These conjunctions often coincide with the peak of Sun activity. 

We are currently in a deep solar minimum that is setting records for the coolest summer on record in many northern hemisphere communities.  Has the Sun Spot cycle failed? Will the Spots return?  From the point of view of the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune make a conjunction in mid September. From the point of view of the Earth they make their final conjunction December 2009. 

Jupiter will oppose Saturn three times in 2010. 

During May and June of 2010 Jupiter will move to an opposition with Saturn and then to a conjunction with Uranus. Is it possible that the Sun will suddenly erupt with a rash of spots? Statistics warn that this is very possible.

I follow the sunspot count to predict economic trends. Solar maximums usually signal the end of a growth in industrial production and we are at a very prolonged minimum. In other words the cycles are not making sense. I'm suggesting that there must be an underground economy about to appear in a fashion similar to the personal computer industry.
Looking around the solar system some odd events have occured recently. The large red spot on Jupiter ate some newly formed white spots and then became smaller. Usually astrology gives Jupiter credit for weight gain among earthlings. Could it be that when Jupiter eats, he loses weight? Recently Ice caps reformed on Mars. With higher power telescopes available scientests will probably find other anomolies.
